As requested by YAN before his execution, REVEREND VOID prevents PAK-TSUN from revealing his identity. He gives PAK-TSUN the letter written by YAN. CHEUNG SHUNG-MAN, the son of the Grand Minister of State, is a smart young man. MAN enjoys traveling. He travels to Shanxi before the arrival of the imperial examination.
