During his 25-year career, he was a SWAT Team Leader and Defensive Tactics Program Supervisor, teaching Firearms, Active Shooter Response, Taser, Less Lethal Munitions, Impact Weapons, and Emergency Vehicle Operations. Nance is the owner of WARTAC Combatives where they deliver unarmed and firearms integration training to law enforcement and private citizens. He is also the bestselling author of gunFIGHT, the Technology Editor of Guns & Ammo magazine, and the Self-Defense Editor of Handguns magazine.
