While the taoist is performing the ritual, KAI CHUN and the others arrive in the nick of time and successfully rescues TSUI NGAU. CHIN TUNG and SHAN CHA inform CHO CHING that BAI-YUET is going to be executed on that same night, so CHO CHING immediately dashes to the execution grounds. In the meantime, TSUI NGAU also leads TAI-KUNG to the execution grounds.
