TIN presents the 18th diagram of the Tui Bei Tu to YAN. YAN demands that TIN figure out the meaning of the diagram or else his life will be at risk. YEUNG and YEE are hawking on the street. People ridicule that YEUNG is living on the earnings of his wife. YAN sends a eunuch to take YEE back to the palace to see FUNG but YEE refuses to do so. She is disappointed to learn that YEUNG has used the eunuch’s money on gambling. YEUNG runs into debt because of gambling. The creditor suggests him selling YEE to repay his debt. YEUNG slips a mickey finn in YEE’s wine. YEE knows his trick and pretends to drink it. YEE beats the creditor after YEUNG has left. YEE makes a clean break with YEUNG, whom later tells his mother that it is for YEE’s sake that he has to leave her. YEE has put the text of the Tui Bei Tu, which her mother gave her, at KEI’s.
