Siu Mei visits Chung again. She expresses her frustration of being a mistress to secure her living. Chung gives her a lot of encouragement and urges her to turn over a new leaf. He promises to help her to find a job and friendship grows between the two. Envy of Fong Ling getting all attention from Jackie, Mei Ki tries to get acquainted with Jackie but without success. Pui Yee has a hard time initially to get back to work. But as she gains more experience and accumulates more knowledge, she begins to have more confidence in her work. Mei Ki brings Yuk Chun to apply for her identity card. Being impatient to wait with Yuk Chun, she leaves her and asks her to return home by herself.
