MING is not satisfied with KAU and YING's relationship. He wants to employ KAU to work in the town but KAU refuses. MING then asks someone to hit KAU and KAU is badly injured. However, KAU still does not give up his relationship with YING. KAN gradually gains the trust of MAN and becomes the in charge of the business of the WONG's family. He even brings MAN to the brothel. When FONG knows that, she scolds them violently. The business of the silk factory becomes very poor. KAN recommends to close the factory. MAN promises. KUEN finds it very unfair.
