FIONA MA, who is also a cadet, suspects that SING was the traffic policeman who had once saved her life, but he makes no response to her queries. KEN reports MAN and KEUNG’s rearrangement to SING. Both MAN and KEUNG are angry. The cadets are given their uniforms and arranged to have their hair cut. The female cadets weep over their short hairdos. ANN talks to every cadet in her team individually.
